Holiday Guide: @DiscoveryKids Robo Warrior great last minute idea!

Seriously…you know that when you were a kid you wished you could have your own robot. Thanks to the Jestson’s and Lost in space, I sure that I did.
Which is probably why I got my nephew something this year that fulfilled my own childhood wishes, I’m sure he won’t mind my vicarious gifting. He likes robots too ;0)
Even if my little monkey doesn’t understand the feelings of nostalgia and wistfulness in my gifting this year, I’m pretty sure that the sounds and imagery of The Discovery Kids Robo Warrior will capture his interest. Like most boys and girls his age he loves the sounds and lights of our modern day choices.
I of course had to give it a whirl (you should have seen me stuffing it back in the box) before making sure it was “the one” and shipping him off to California.
Can you say super cool?!
The moves and sounds have that advanced techno feel, he lights up, spins around (in all directions), shoots discs (16 are included) and makes sounds (12 in all) that certainly delighted this wannabe youngster.
Okay, tell the truth..can you tell I opened it? The crease in the packaging isn't really obvious,
is it?
He is controlled by a battery powered remote control and a flexible antenna that operates, he shoots out (up to 10 feet) small foam disc projectiles at his target (my husband's shins were my Robo's target). His easily reloaded “ammunition slot” in the top of his head makes him ready to keep firing the soft discs (that don’t hurt by any means),whistle, buzz and spin for tons of robot fun...lol, you see me trying to think of a way to spell out some of his sounds.
Because of the small parts that could be a choking hazard for kids 3 years and under, The Discovery Kids Robo Warrior Disc Shooter is recommended for children age 6 and up. The Discovery Kids Robo Warrior, is available for $29.00 at JCP (it's all inside)and Kohl’s (a great excuse to cash in or earn that Kohl’s cash for some of your own after Christmas spending!)
You can also learn more or explore even more gift ideas at the Discovery Kids website ;0)

I love this and so would my son. A lot better than the furby who scares me to death every time he wakes up and his eyes glow and he starts chattering. I like this little robot. I never thought of Discovery kids for Christmas gifts, Love your post. I'm definitely going to put Discovery Kids on my list for Birthdays and Christmases. Discovery Kids has the best toys around.

My son still has his robot from when he was younger. Fascinating what these little buggers can do!
