For those of you that have hung out with me for a while, you have undoubtedly seen the many hair styles of me. It’s not that I’m indecisive, believe me I would love to have timeless style that works well for me just as much as I’d like my jowls to stay put but that ain’t gonna happen, is it?

Before my back injury and the pre-adrenal breakdown I had fab hair…long, soft, blonde locks that I could manage in my sleep. Then the dreaded cortisol malfunction stole my luster.

If you are just tuning in, let me bring you up to speed. Five or six years ago I fell getting Ms. Sassy Ma’am out of the tub, seriously injured my back, ran the gambit of "fix-me" interventions  had steroid injections, reacted to said steroids, ended up adrenal insufficient, among other horrible make me as ugly as you can medical side effects; my hair fell out and I haven’t been the same. Last year I grew my hair back out…though thinner than and not as fab as before, it was back.

Then I had back surgery as a result of afore mentioned fall and was literally flat on my back…yeah, I don’t recommend this when growing one’s hair out. I was more snarled than anything. Rather than allow my husband to rip through the back of my head with his version of hair brushing,  I opted for a shorter cut.

This yo-yo hair has left me the owner of more hair tools and devices than a two-time beauty school dropout….For real!

Okay now that we’re all up to speed…..

So clearly, I have a need for good quality hair care products but the problem is that along with my love of all things hair I’m also a little OCD when it comes to the hoarding appearance of my bathroom cabinets…my solution is to find a brand I love and stick with it because there is nothing worse than the junk cluttering cabinet graveyard of tried and failed hair care products. Among my favorites of tried and true is Redken.
